Promoting British Wool

Patricia Ackroyd, Director of Ackroyd and Dawson Ltd. is offering talks to the Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers, Women's Institutes and any groups who would like to discuss British sheep's wool and alpaca fleece. Ms. Ackroyd is keen to offer information and support to assist farmers to find information on better breeding, and to help producers and consumers who trade in 100% British wool products and yarns. We want to provide information to all on why wool is a finer option to man-made fibres, why supporting 100% British wool is good for both ecology and the local economy.
